I Hope

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

I came to the exiles who lived at Tel Abib near the Kebar River.
And there, where they were living,
I sat among them for seven days - overwhelmed.

(Why did I jot down this verse? I came across this verse for the 1st time in a devotional on page 1102 of the NIV Encouragement Bible. The message in that devotional touched me and so I took the time to check out tbe verse that it referred to for myself.)

many prophets and kings have desired to see what you see,
and have not seen it,
and to hear what you hear,
and have not heard it."
